ABOUT THE RETREAT

This retreat, co-led by Gen Kelsang Choma and Kelsang Chogyop, will be based on the commentary to The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, given during the NKT-IKBU Summer Festival 2016. It is a special opportunity to deepen our understanding and experience of these precious teachings.

This retreat has been structured to give highlights of the Oral Instructions from the NKT-IKBU Summer Festival plus personal retreat experience.  There will be 3 sessions a day. The 1st session will be a teaching followed by the 2nd and 3rd sessions which will be retreat sessions.  The afternoon session includes some guided meditation and the evening session is self guided meditation. There will be an optional afternoon Q&A on Saturday & Sunday as well as some suggested silent times.

Everyone is advised to bring or buy the sadhana, The Hundreds of Deities of the Joyful Land, and the book, The Oral Instructions of Mahamudra.  Although, everyone is welcome to attend, please note that this is an advanced retreat.
