We all have a tremendous capacity for happiness and for giving happiness to others.  On this retreat Gen Choma and Kelsang Chogyop will share practical teachings and meditations for daily life that show us how we can make positive changes in our lives that will enable us to experience deep and lasting happiness and how we can truly benefit our friends, family and society.

This retreat is based on the essential points of the teachings given during the NKT-IKBU Summer Festival 2017 and is a perfect opportunity to take deep into our hearts the nectar of Venerable Geshe-la’s new book “How to Transform Your Life”. Everybody is welcome to attend this relaxing getaway long retreat weekend.

ABOUT THE TEACHERS

Gen Kelsang Choma is a senior Kadampa Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher at KMC San Francisco. She has studied and practiced under the guidance of Geshe Kelsang for over 25 years and has taught throughout the United States. People find her teachings clear, warm and encouraging.

Kelsang Chogyop is the main teacher at Mahakaruna Kadampa Buddhist Center. She is a modern Kadampa nun, who has studied extensively and practiced Kadampa Buddhism for over twelve years under the guidance of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Chogyop has taught meditation classes across the country. She is known for her warm heart, practical teachings and sincere practice of the Dharma.
