Everyone welcome. Please join us in the powerful Buddhist practice of taking and giving from the Lojong teachings on training the mind. In this training, we use our compassionate hearts to visualize taking away the suffering of others, imagining the relief felt as their suffering is taken from them and then breathingout light and giving happiness to all living beings in the new year.
7:00 – 7:30pm: enjoy hors d’oeuvres and the company of fellow practitioners.
7:30-8:30 pm: Gen Choma will give a talk on the practice of Taking and Giving (from the Lojong teachings on training the mind)
8:30-9:00pm: Buddha Avalokiteshvara Prayers of Compassion
