Need a mid-day break? Please come by for a relaxing guided meditation. Mats and chairs provided. No special clothing needed. Everyone welcome. $5 suggested. No one turned away for lack of funds.
Session will include:
- Brief Introduction
- Guided Meditation (based on Meditations for Relaxation or Meditations for a Clear Mind)
- Conclusion – Advice on How to Apply Meditation Daily Life
Benefits of Meditation:
So much of the stress and tension we normally experience comes from our mind, and many of the problems we experience, including ill health, are caused or aggravated by this stress. Just by doing breathing meditation for ten or fifteen minutes each day, we will be able to reduce this stress.
Alise Halbert has been practicing meditation since 2000 and has attended teachings and retreats worldwide. She is currently the Education Program Coordinator for KMC San Francisco and is on the Foundation Program. Alise is happy to share the benefits of meditation with all people from all walks of life.
