Monday Morning Meditations

This class will introduce modern Buddhist practices for improving our happiness, relationships, and ability to transform problems into opportunities. In this class, we will follow the meditations in the book, How to Understand the Mind, by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

Please note:  We are happy to announce the following change in our schedule starting in September.  The Monday Morning Meditations will be changed to Monday Prayers for World Peace.  See details below.

Please contact epc@MeditateInSanFrancisco with any questions or concerns

Starting in September
Monday Prayers for World Peace
Mondays, 10:00-11:15am
with Cate Fields
Our Monday drop-in meditation class includes guided meditations, short prayers dedicated to world peace, and a teaching on a Buddhist topic. In these classes, we can learn and practice essential meditation techniques, reduce stress, and develop lasting happiness. In so doing, we can find real inner peace within our own hearts and in this way contribute to world peace. By donation.
The teachings in this class will be based on the book Eight Steps to Happiness.

“Everyone, whether religious or non-religious, is looking for happiness all the time and wants to be free from problems and suffering permanently.  We can fulfill these wishes through understanding the instructions given in this book.”  Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
