With Gen Kelsang Choma
KMC San Francisco
3324 17th Street
San Francisco, CA 94110
Through ancient Buddhist wisdom practices we can learn to accept and transform our pain and sickness into experiences of inner strength and spiritual insight. In the first session, we will learn how to relate to our body with wisdom and gain the ability to pacify our grasping and physical pain. We will then enjoy a guided meditation on our body in order to experience the relaxing effort of wisdom on our well being. After lunch, we’ll look at the emptiness of our mind in order to subdue tension and worry. We’ll then have an opportunity to meditate and apply Buddhist wisdom to understanding our own mind and experiencing our own inner peace.
Cost: $25/day; $12/teaching session; $7/meditation
