Meditations For a Joyful Life in Downtown SF

We all have the potential for self-transformation, and a limitless capacity for the growth of good qualities, but to fulfill this potential we need to know what to do along every stage of our spiritual journey.  These classes will provide practical instructions and advice based on the Lamrim meditations – created by a Buddhist meditation master, Atisha, in the 6th century AD – and commentaries by Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.  Ancient technology for modern life.

Weekly guided meditations and Buddhist teachings are offered in Downtown San Francisco for your convenience. These classes provide a basic introduction to Buddhist teachings and meditation techniques that are suitable for beginners as well as more advanced meditation practitioners. Through these classes we can learn how to use Buddha’s advice in our daily lives to solve our problems and find the peace and happiness we seek.

These classes are offered as a series, but they are also self contained and can be taken individually. Please feel free to drop in on a class-by-class basis.

No special clothing is required. No pre-registration required.

Everyone welcome.
