These classes provide a basic introduction to Buddhist teachings and meditation that are suitable for beginners and experienced meditators. Each month we explore a new topic from Buddha’s teachings and learn how to practically apply it in our daily lives.
Buddha Vajrapani is the Buddha of spiritual power. Through relying upon him, we will develop the strength to overcome the obstacles and hindrances of daily life and experience true joy and freedom. Gen Chöma will grant the empowerment and give commentary to the practice of Buddha Vajrapani and explain how we can continue to receive his special inspiration in our daily life.
Mondays 10-11am, February-April (possibly ongoing)
Gen Kelsang Chöma will introduce modern Buddhist practices for improving our happiness, relationships, and ability to transform problems into opportunities. In this drop-in class, we will follow the new meditations in How to Understand the Mind, the newest book by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
